Hi friends! My
name is Roy McFaddin and I'd like to introduce you to my new website "Operation 10
Commandments",
which I hope and pray that God is directing, because where God guides, He provides!
That's me, to the right of little Mr. Uncle Sam and little Miss Liberty, who are my new friends that I met at
the
recent Monmouth/Independence 4th of July Parade here in Oregon that we participated in with our "10 Commandment
Truck/Trailer/Float" (you can see a portion of our "Truck/Trailer/Float" directly behind me and a full
photo of it can be
seen at the bottom of this page, or you can click the "10 Commandment Truck/Trailer/Float"
button on the left)
Above is a portion of one of the sides of our 10 Commandment Truck with an actual carved example of the 10 Commandment
displays
that we produce. Each set of tablets are individually handcrafted and have their own distinctive and unique "personality"
(see the
whole 10 Commandment Truck/Trailer/Float at the bottom of this page).
Our Mission
The mission of "Operation 10 Commandments" is simply to produce as many as possible of the large and
uniquely
hand-crafted displays that God is allowing me to do of the 10 Commandments (shown below) and
then install them
all over America to help celebrate and honor those Christian Principles that our country
was founded on!

Above is the 42-1/2" square x 3" deep 10 Commandment display, with the 2 tablets in the "ancient
aged stone"
finish version (the "smooth"
finish version is shown in the photos below). You can see in the detail photo on the
right the oak frame
(with a clear, semi-gloss finish), the "cherry-finish" decoratively-engraved background panels
and the
polished, mirror-finish "gold" metal background directly behind the tablets themselves. The tablets are
individually
engraved and then given a unique hand-crafted texture with special tools and then they are finally
given an exclusive
"dry-brush" painting technique to reveal the one-of-a-kind surface details.
Organization News
The first "unveiling" of these unique 10 Commandment displays that God has enabled me to do, occurred
on
the wall in the lobby of my Calvary Chapel Church which is located in Monmouth/Independence, Oregon on
April 26th,
2008. I had previously engraved the first chapter of James (also now in the lobby of our Calvary
Chapel Church)
as a response to my Pastor Rick Hopkins sermon regarding the Christian's obligation to sincerely
seek and find
out and then use whatever "gift" God has given each of us (and God has promised that ALL of us
have at
least one!). Well, after much prayer, "seeking, asking and knocking", God stirred my heart to
employ
my graphic design, wood-working and engraving abilities and that resulted in the first chapter of James
(one of
Pastor Rick's favorite chapters in the Bible) . Pastor Rick then suggested the 10 Commandments
as an engraving
project and the results are now "Operation 10 Commandments". Well, this project is in God's
Hands
and it will go where-ever He wants it to! If God is stirring your heart to be a part of it, please do so!
That's me, Roy McFaddin, holding the 10 Commandments (in a carrying-case that is available as an option; the
"ancient aged stone" version of
the tablets is in the carrying-case and the "smooth" version of the
tablets is on
the easel behind me); the middle photo shows the display on the easel (made specifically for these
42-1/2" square
x 3" deep displays) being shown at the Riverfront Park in Independence, Oregon, during
a May 1, 2008 National
Day of Prayer Ceremony conducted by the Mid-Valley Christian Academy (located in Monmouth,
Oregon); the final
photo shows the full easel (and the tablet carrying-case) that is available for the display
(note the coordinating polished
"gold" metal frame on the 4' wide x 7' tall easel that matches
the polished "gold" metal-backing that is directly behind
the tablets in the display itself).
Please Be A Part Of This Effort
If God is stirring your heart to be a part of "Operation 10 Commandments", please consider sponsoring
one
of these custom, individually hand-crafted 42-1/2" square x 3" deep 10 Commandment displays for
your
own Church, private business, organization, youth group (please consider a local YMCA, YWCA, Boy Scout,
Girl Scout,
etc.), Elk's Lodge, Masonic Lodge, civic center, auditorium, public and private schools (elementary,
intermediate,
high school, college or university), courthouse or even a shopping mall, chamber of commerce,
airport, restaurant,
store, day-care center, bowling alley or even your own home (there are more creative and
possible locations than
you can imagine, when you start to think about it!). Smaller, "home-sized" versions of
the above
displays are "in the works" and will be available shortly. My fellow Americans......don't you agree
that
the right to display these basic Christian Principles should be exercised, preserved and defended?
Above is our 10 Commandment Truck/Trailer/Float that won 2 ribbons in the recent 4th of July Parade
in Monmouth/Independence
(1st Place for "most effort" and 3rd Place "over-all")! The 7' tall x 3'-6" wide
10
Commandment tablets on the "Float" are digital photos of the actual carved tablets (with the photos
mounted
on aluminum). Our 10 Commandment Truck has actual carved tablets on each side, along with
marvelous quotes by
our Founding Fathers honoring Christianity.......the Foundation of Our Country!
Thank you David Barton and "wallbuilders.com"
for bringing these wonderful quotes to our attention!
