1. The 42-1/2" square x 3" deep display is $1,200. A 50% down payment ($600)
is due before fabrication and assembly begins, with the balance due upon delivery (we use the
"PayPal" system for payments, invoices and fund transfers that use the internet; please
contact us at "roymcfaddin@aol.com" and we will have PayPal contact you to start the
process-----it is a very, very simple process to set-up and have a PayPal account to take advantage of this secure and reliable
payment system). You can also contact us by writing to: Liberty
Sign And Mirror, LLC , 3420 Riddell Road, Monmouth, Oregon 97361
(phone 503-370-2892). If mailing payments by check, checks should be made
out to Liberty Sign And Mirror, LLC.
This $1,200 price includes your choice of the 2 finishes available for the set of tablets, which are the "ancient
aged stone" finish version and the "smooth" finish version (both of these finishes can be seen on the "Home"
page). This $1,200 price also includes one set (1 left and 1 right) of your choice of the decoratively-engraved, vertical
"side panels" (11" wide x 38" tall each) that are
changeable (please note the "semi-sunburst" design and the "scroll"
design that are both depicted on the "Home" page). The 3" deep oak frame
is finished with a semi-gloss clear polyurethane. The engraved background panels consist of a "cherry-finish"
laminate material that is 1/4" thick. The decorative brass screws and decorative curved washers (also of brass)
coordinate with the mirror-finished, polished "brass" metal background that is directly behind the 2 tablets (this
metal is actually polished aluminum with a "brass" finish). The tablets themselves are individually engraved
from a special high-density composite urethane material and then each tablet is uniquely "aged" in the "ancient
aged stone" version or in the "smooth" version with various hand chisels and other special tools (no 2 tablets
are exactly alike; they each have their own individual "personality"). The final painting of the tablets is
done exclusively by Roy McFaddin in a special "dry-brush" technique that Roy has developed over many years, revealing
the custom and unique texture of each tablet. Each tablet is then individually signed and dated by Roy McFaddin on the
back of each tablet. The tablets can be unscrewed from the back of the 42-1/2" square frame and placed in the special
carrying-case (described below) for safe transporting.
2. The optional,
additional decoratively-engraved "side-panels" that are 11" wide x 38" tall each are $150 per set (each
set includes a specific "left" and a specific "right" panel to fully coordinate with the large display).
One set of these "side panels", design of your choice, is included in the $1,200 price
for the over-all display. These additional "side panels" are designed to be interchangeable
with the 42-1/2" square display to give the over-all display variety and to keep the display constantly interesting.
Right now we have the "semi-sunburst" and the "scroll" designs available and in stock (you can see these
2 different designs on the "Home" page), but we will shortly have many more designs available to give much more
variety to your own display. We have a goal to eventually have at least 48 different sets of designs so you could have
a different "side panel" design for every week of the year! These new designs will help to celebrate the changing
of the seasons, as well as help to honor and celebrate specific scriptures and festivals from the Bible as well as other holidays
celebrated thru-out the year. Custom designs per your individual
wishes are also available and will be quoted upon request (the cost of these custom, one-of-a-kind orders is determined by
the research/design and computer graphic time required as well as the complexity of the actual engraving and finishing/painting
of the final engraving).
3. The portable, folding large
4' wide x 7' tall easel is specifically made for the 42-1/2" square 10 Commandment display and is $435. This price includes the polished "gold" finished metal frame and matching
"gold" screws and decorative curved washers that both coordinate with the polished "gold" metal backing
that is directly behind the tablets on the display itself. The high-quality 3/4" thick oak plywood panel is finished
with a special "hard finish, U.V. protected" clear coating (we use the premium "ZAR" brand of exterior
polyurethane, clear gloss), so this easel display can be used for various exterior display applications. Heavy-duty
"premium-grade" 2" x 4" supports are attached to the back with heavy-duty hinges, metal reinforcement
plates and retaining chains. The special, heavy-duty "hanging cleat" system that allows the 42-1/2" display
to be attached to the easel is a 2-part system, with one part pre-attached to the back of the 42-1/2" square display
and the other part pre-attached to the face of the 4' wide x 7' tall easel. With this "cleat" system,
it is a simple matter of "lifting" the display 42-1/2" square display both securely "onto" the easel
and then safely "off of" the easel (no hardware is required).
4. The changeable signs
on the display easel are 10" tall x 37" wide (for placement above the 42-1/2" display) and 17" tall x
37" wide (for placement immediately below the 42-1/2" display) and are $115 and $185, respectively.
These prices do include one full-color message of your choice. These optional signs also have the coordinating polished
"gold" metal frame material, "gold" screws and "gold" curved washers that are used on the frame
of the 4' wide x 7' tall easel itself. The full-color messages contained in the signs slide "in and out"
of the frame (by simply unscrewing one end of the metal frame). These messages are printed in a permanent, full-color
"resin" method (which is exterior and water-proof). Full-color photographs can also be incorporated into these
sign messages if we are provided with a good-quality photo that we can then scan and insert into the sign message. 5. The portable,
lockable carrying-case for the 2 tablets of the 10 Commandments is $395. This case provides a secure
and safe method of transporting these tablets when desired. The 2 tablets are 14" wide x 29" tall x 1-1/2"
thick and they fit securely inside this carrying-case that measures 7" x 34" x 20" (when the case is shut).
This case has decorative brass handles, brass corner-protectors, brass hinges, brass screws and curved washers, brass retainers
and brass lockable latches. These brass details coordinate with the polished "gold/brass" finish on the metal
backing that is directly behind the 2 tablets on the 42-1/2" square display itself.
Crating, Shipping & Installation
1. Crating,
shipping and insurance are additional costs, F.O.B. our shop in Monmouth, Oregon 97361. The
approximate cost to professionally crate, strap, insure and ship the 42-1/2" square x 3" deep 10
Commandment display (containing both of the engraved tablets and the rest of the engraved background area that includes one
set of engraved and painted "side panels") would be $245. to ship
by UPS from our shop in Monmouth, Oregon to Manhattan, New York, for an example (the heavy-duty wood crate and the display contents both weigh a grand
total of 110 lbs.) Each of the 42-1/2"
square x 3" deep displays weigh 68 lbs. (without the shipping crate). Included in the shipping
crate is the "2-part hanging cleat" system which is comprised by 2 heavy-duty wood plates that are each 1-1/8"
thick and are designed to securely attach to each other. One of these "cleats" is pre-attached to the back
of the 42-1/2" square display and the other "cleat" is pre-drilled and ready to be mounted to the wall where
the display is to be mounted. Once the "cleat" has been securely attached to the wall, the 42-1/2" square
display can be easily lifted (2 people are recommended) off of the wall and then placed back again on the wall, per your requirements.
We recommend screwing the "cleat" that is intended for the wall to
studs hidden inside the wall, where available, but if studs are not available, the "cleat" can still be securely
attached by using several "toggle bolts" (we recommend using toggle bolts that are at least in the 1/8" x 2-1/2"
length, with metal washers located by the screw head; a 3/8" diameter dill bit is required for the holes in which the
"spring-loaded wings" of the toggle bolts would fit through the wall). We
have pre-drilled 18 holes into the "cleat" that is intended to be mounted to the wall (not all of the 18 pre-dilled
holes are necessary, but they will help you to expedite and locate final positions for the toggle bolts). These holes
have also been "counter-sunk" with 1-1/4" wide "paddle" bits to allow for large metal washers to
be inserted for additional support (we have supplied both the toggle bolts and these wide metal washers inside the shipping
crate for this "wall-cleat" attachment procedure). Also included inside
the shipping crate is a large, full-sized "butcher paper" detailed template that clearly shows where to position
the "cleat" that is to be fastened on the wall. This paper template also shows where the edges of the 42-1/2"
square display will be seen, so you can easily position the final display and know exactly where the edges will be positioned
and actually be seen on the wall.
